Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga Desert
Your 3-day Morocco desert tour from Fes to Merzouga. begins after breakfast at your hotel or riad. We will drive through the beautiful Middle Atlas Mountains. Our first stop is Ifrane often called the “Switzerland of Morocco” because of its clean streets and green parks and European-style houses. It is a great place to take photos.
Next we will stop at Azrou cedar forest where you can see and feed the wild monkeys that live in the trees. Then we continue through the scenic Ziz Valley full of palm trees and small Berber villages. You’ll also enjoy views of the Tizi n’Talghemt mountain pass.

Day 2: Merzouga Desert – 4x4 Tour – Nomads – Khamlia – Camel Trek – Desert Camp
On the secand day of your 3 days desert tour from fes to merzouga. After breakfast enjoy a full day exploring the Sahara Desert by 4×4 vehicle. We’ll drive through the Erg Chebbi dunes and we will visit a nomad family and enjoy a cup of tea with them while learning about their simple desert lifestyle.
Then we head to Khamlia village home to the Gnaoua people where you will listen to live traditional music. Afterward we return to Merzouga where your camel ride begins. You’ll trek across the dunes just before sunset an unforgettable moment,
Tonight you’ll stay in a luxury desert camp with comfortable beds and private showers and delicious Moroccan food. After dinner we will enjoy Berber music around the fire and gaze at the incredible starry sky.
Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Erfoud – Ziz Valley – Azrou – Ifrane – Fes
On the final day of your 3-day Fes to Merzouga desert tour, we wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast and a camel ride or 4×4 transfer back to Merzouga we begin our return journey to Fes.
We’ll stop in Rissani known for its traditional market and as the birthplace of Morocco royal family. Next we visit Erfoud to see a local fossil workshop and then continue through the Ziz Valley with it is palm groves and ancient villages.
We’ll drive back through Azrou and Ifrane where we can take a short break before reaching Fes. At the end of the tour we’ll drop you off at your hotel or the airport in Fes.
